Equally, the ID verification procedures give responsible breeders the opportunity to distinguish themselves by transparently showing that they have had their ID verified by Camlist.
You should expect the following from a verified user:
They should spend time chatting with you on the app or phone and will arrange a time for you to visit and meet the pet, along with its mother, in the place where they were born and raised.
They should be happy to have more than one meeting to ensure you and the pet are compatible.
They should be happy to answer all of your questions and ask you just as many to make sure their pet is going to a good home.
They should be happy to show you their license if they are breeding and selling pets as a business.
They should provide genuine paperwork/certificates for vaccinations, microchipping, worming, and results for health tests where relevant.
How to identify a user has been verified:
Identifying verified profiles is easy. They should have a "blue tick" alongside their profile picture. And you should also see the word "verified" in their profile.
