Do I have to pay anything to list on Camlist?
It is completely free to list on Camlist. You can post an unlimited number of unique listings.
Is it safe to sell on Camlist?
Camlist is the safest way to rehome a pet. We offer complete protection to our users, so you donโt have to share your phone number or personal details. We act as an intermediary for every payment so that no buyer or seller is ever scammed if the payment is made on Camlist.

How do I get paid?
Once you and a buyer agree on a price, you need to send a payment request to the buyer inside the chat. You can read more about how to request a payment here.
They will then have the option to make the payment either in full with their card or using our financing option. You can read more about how our financing option works here.
Once the payment has been made using the buyer's method of choice, your FULL asking price is instantly added to your Camlist balance.
Once you and the buyer have confirmed delivery of the pet, the amount available in your Camlist balance will be transferred to the bank account details that you provide to us. You can read more about how to request a bank transfer here.
Note that once both you and the buyer have confirmed delivery of the pet, there is no chance that you, as a seller, will not get your money in your bank account; it is 100% guaranteed.
When do I get paid?
When the buyer makes a payment, in full or in installments, you will receive the full amount on your Camlist balance instantly. This will be visible on your Camlist balance screen. You can request for your balance to be transferred to your bank account. Once you and the buyer confirm that the pet has been delivered, the amount will be transferred to your bank account. On your first bank transfer, you will have to complete a short identity verification process before the transfer is processed.
What are the payment methods available for my buyers?
Your buyers can pay in one of the following methods:
They can pay the full amount directly using their debit/credit card or bank transfer
They can use one of our various financing options
Whichever option buyers choose, you receive the full amount immediately. In cases where buyers are paying using finance, you still get your full amount immediately from us, and buyers pay us back in installments.

Are there any fees?
There are no fees charged to sellers on Camlist. The buyer would have to pay a small fee based on their choice of payment method. You can check our the details here.

Do I get the money before the buyer leaves with the pet?
As soon as a buyer makes the payment, you will receive the full amount as per your asking price in your Camlist balance.
This amount is available in your Camlist balance until you request a transfer to your bank account AND the buyer confirms delivery of the pet by pressing the "Confirm Delivery" button in the chat, which appears after payment is made.
Make sure the buyer presses the "Confirm Delivery" button, and you can then request a bank transfer anytime you like and it will be processed as per the details mentioned in this article.
How does the installment process work?
Once you send the buyer a payment request, the buyer has the option to make the payment in full using their card or in installments. Regardless of which option they choose, you will get your asking price in full up-front.
If the buyer chooses installments, as soon as they pay the first installment, you will receive the full asking price, and you can hand over the pet. The buyer will continue to pay us in further installments based on the plan they choose.
There are no extra fees charged to you as the seller.

Can I avail these offers for pets sold in cash, or do I have to sell through Camlist?
You can avail of the above offers only for the pets that you sell through Camlist once you receive the payment for the pet via the app. We do not recommend receiving any payments in cash as you receive no protection, and you will not have a record of the transaction.
How does the CASH BONUS work? How can I receive it as a seller?
As a seller, you are eligible to claim a cash bonus every time you accept a payment for a pet on Camlist per the terms & conditions. We want to ensure that you as a seller or a breeder are providing the best care possible for your pets, and we understand that you also have to pay a lot in vet fees, vaccinations, microchipping, de-worming costs, etc.
So this is our way of helping you care for your pets in the best way possible. This ensures that every pet on Camlist is healthy and ready for a new home!

Could I invite my buyers from outside to claim the Camlist offer?
Yes, you can invite buyers from outside Camlist to take advantage of all the benefits that Camlist can offer you and the buyer. You can share the offers through your custom banner, and to learn how to access and share your custom banner, you can check out this article.
You can also collect your payments from buyers you meet outside of Camlist by sharing your payment link. You can generate a payment link with the help of this article.
Do I need to provide my phone number to sign up?
Yes, you need to provide your phone number to sign up as we use a phone number and a one-time password to authenticate your profile.
Is my phone number visible to others?
Your phone number is never shared with any user of Camlist unless you choose to do so yourself in the chat.
Can I change my phone number?
Yes, you can change your phone number associated with your account. You can reach out to our Support Team in the in-app Support chat to get help with changing your phone number.
Is my email address visible to others?
You can update your email address when you edit your profile but this email address is never shared with any user of Camlist.
Is my location shared with others on the app?
Your location is only noted for two reasons - to ensure that you are creating your listing from within the countries we operate in so as to avoid scammers, and for your city to be mentioned in the listing so that a buyer can look for listings near them.
Can I post images instead of videos?
The main medium of the listing has to be a video because we believe that the joys of being a pet parent are best captured via video. Once you've chosen the video, you can add up to 10 photos as additional media while adding the listing details. You can also share photos in your chat with the buyer!
What is the most ideal way of shooting the video for my listing?
Make sure that the pet is clearly visible and that the lighting is good. The background needs to be in contrast with the color of the petโs coat so that the pet stands out. Videos, where the pet is active, tend to be more attractive than videos where a pet may be asleep. Focus on one pet at a time. You can post multiple video listings for every pet in the litter rather than posting a single video listing for the whole litter.
What is the most effective way to write down my listing description?
Make sure to be clear and concise. Please mention when the pet can leave for their new home. It would also help to mention details of the breed, the color of their coat, the details of their parents, health records like vaccination history, and whether they have been microchipped and de-wormed. The more important details youโre able to provide, the more a buyer would trust you to be a legitimate breeder or seller.

How long does it take to approve my listing?
Once you post your listing, it takes around 1 to 2 hours for your listing to be approved. It may take longer in case of a high volume of listings being posted.
How can I share my listing(s)?
In your profile screen, you will find a โShareโ icon at the top right section. You can tap on this to share your entire profile. If you would just like to share one listing, you will find the โShareโ button when you open the listing. You can share these links on any platform - WhatsApp, Facebook, other classifieds sites, and more.
What are the channels I can use to have more reach for my listing(s)?
You can add the link to your pet-related profiles on any social media platform. You can also share your custom banner on any social media platform, or anywhere you post about your pets.
Your custom banner has all the details of the offers for buyers, and the fact that they can pay in installments on Camlist!
What is the best duration for my petโs video?
There is no best duration as such, but a clear video of the pet for about 30-45 seconds should be a good enough duration for you to capture the pet and its features and behavior. Your videos can be up to a maximum duration of 2 minutes.
What are boosts?
Boosts are used to bring your listing to the top of the feed temporarily as if it were listed just now. As soon as a new listing is posted, the boosted listing would automatically move down in the feed. You can learn more about boost through this article.
How can I get more buyers to reach out?
To increase the visibility of your listings, you can do the following:
Ensure that your profile is complete with a picture, a username, and a detailed "About" section
Make sure to get your past buyers to leave you reviews on the app
Share your listings and your profile on other platforms like WhatsApp and Facebook
Offer the option of paying in installments with 0% interest through Camlist, on other platforms as well
Use boosts to send your listings to the top of the feed
How do I receive more boosts?
You can receive boosts for sharing your listings on platforms other than Camlist or by posting a new listing. You can reach out to Camlist support through the top right-hand corner button on the app to claim your boosts.
What do I need to do in order to have my account listed among the top rated?
If this section is available in your country, the top-rated sellers are chosen based on the following criteria:
Number of pets re-homed through Camlist
An above 4-star rating
At least 5 reviews from buyers
